This project presented a unique challenge for me. I took over the design during the column installation phase, after the foundation was completed, due to the owner’s dissatisfaction with the previous design by the initial architect. As a result, I had to work within the constraints of the existing columns and overall floor area. My approach began with a complete redesign of the floor plan, followed by several key adjustments to the foundation and ceiling heights to achieve the final design vision. Throughout the process, I collaborated closely with the client, project managers, and engineers to ensure a cohesive and functional design that met the project’s goals.

The challenge of the TV wall was integrating three main elements the staircase, fireplace, and TV, into one cohesive design. I focused on ensuring that these elements didn’t create a cluttered or busy look. By maintaining a minimalist approach with clean lines and subtle materials, I was able to design a TV wall that remains functional, balanced, and seamlessly blends into the overall interior.

This project presented a unique challenge due to its location. My client purchased a vacation home in Istanbul that required a complete interior design transformation. The primary challenge was sourcing high-quality suppliers within the client’s budget in a foreign market, which demanded extensive research and coordination. After three months of meticulous planning and execution, I successfully completed the project. The client was highly satisfied with the outcome, and the experience not only resulted in a beautiful home but also allowed me to cultivate a valuable professional network in Istanbul.
